One Saturday afternoon, I decided to take a stroll in the park neighbourhood. The weather was perfect for a spring day and a cool breeze was gently blowing. Flowers were in bloom everywhere. In one area were a couple of kids playing on the swing whilst their doting mothers stood nearby watching. A couple of joggers passed me running down the trail. And a couple of yummy moms all dressed up their babies were pushing in strollers which looked posh. On one bench was a distraught figure who just looked like he was homeless. I realised that all that was happening in the park could actually give me blog posting ideas. Here are a few examples of what I'd blog about:
-Spring
Jogger Stroller
I could write about the season and the activities people get up to during that time. I could look upto see if any events were lined up. How about spring cleaning? That'd make an interesting read to all the clean freaks. I could also have a blog post of spring pictures taken in the park.
- Running
Remember the joggers that I saw? There's a lot that can be written about running and exercise in general. From the benefits of running, how to train for a marathon, the best running gear and so on. I'd also check out if there are any running events in the area.
- Yummy mummies
Who are they and how does one become one? I could explore why not all mums become yummy but frumpy. An example of a blog post idea would be 'How to get a mum from frumpy to yummy in 12 steps'. Another good one would be looking at celebrity mums and how they magically spring back into shape in no time.
-Homelessness
This is an issue which society faces everywhere. Why not blog about the various charities that help homeless people to raise awareness? It's always nice to do something good for the needy.
If just a walk through the park revealed a great wealth of blog posting ideas, imagine what a trip to the supermarket could present you with. The idea is to observe and be open to your surroundings for that's where blog ideas come from.
